Modelling The Hemodynamics of Coronary Ischemia

چکیده

Acting upon clinical patient data, acquired in the pathway of percutaneous intervention, we deploy hierarchical, multi-stage, data-handling protocols and interacting low- high-order mathematical models (chamber elastance, state-space system CFD models), to establish then validate a framework quantify burden ischaemia. Our core tool is compartmental, zero-dimensional model coupled circulation with four heart chambers, systemic pulmonary circulations an optimally adapted windkessel coronary arteries that reflects diastolic dominance flow. We guide parallel development by appealing foundational physiological principles cardiac energetics parameterisation (stenotic Bernoulli resistance micro-vascular resistance) patients’ our process first results which substantiate and, second, demonstrate good correspondence between operation data. conclude capable representing (patho)physiological states discuss how it can potentially be deployed, on provide quantitative assessment impact, individual, artery disease.
